SEPA Distrcit Office Khairpur visited Brick kilns located at Thahri bypass.

In compliance of the directives of Adivisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Environment, Climate Change and Coastal Development Department(ECC&CDD), Dost Muhammad Rahimoon, Secretary for Environment, Climate change and Coastal Development Department, Agha Shahnawaz and Director General, SEPA Naeem Ahmed Mughal regarding monitoring for the control of Air pollution, Sindh EPA District Office Khairpur Mirs team visited brick kilns (without stake) near Thahri bypass and observed biomass as a source of fuel.

Further, on the directives of the SEPA team, the owner of the brick kiln raised a wall of dry reed grass from the road side for the control of smoke.
