SMC Delegation Visits ECC&CDD Secretariat
A delegation from the Senior Management Course (SMC) at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Karachi, visited the Environment, Climate Change & Coastal Development Department (ECC&CDD) Secretariat.
During the visit, the participants held discussions on climate change governance, carbon market mechanisms, and ongoing institutional initiatives under ECC&CDD.
Secretary ECC&CDD, Mr. Zubair Ahmed Channa, briefed the delegation on the department’s key initiatives in climate change policy, governance frameworks, and emerging carbon market opportunities. He was accompanied by Mr. Ayhan Mustafa Bhutto, Director General (Directorate of Climate Change); Mr. Waqar Hussain Phulpoto, Director General, Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA); Mr. Imran Sabir, Director Natural Resources; Mr. Waris Ali Gabol, Director Karachi Region; and Mr. Nouman Shaikh, Climate Change Consultant.
